A series of strange holes have appeared around the southern borders of Tesrae just to the east of ShallowCut Mine. They are about the thickness of and length of an arm, and are arranged in groups of three. They seem to be fresh, as by this morning they had only filled with water to the depth of six inches. |

A further series of holes appeared to the north of the previous set both east and west of the Bolteen Road. Nearby, a recently set camp can be found with a still smouldering fire and three tents. The camp is bereft of life. |

- Inhabitants seem to have "lost" at least one day in the past two. They remember working in the fields and the forest as normal then finding themselves in a completely different location in the blink of an eye. Many have a tingling sensation in their lower legs, a violent headache and a raging thirst. At least the inhabitants who remain in Tesrae remember this. Although no census has been conducted recently, it would appear that around one quarter of the workers have simply disappeared. There seems to be specific patter. Young, old, Dwarf, Elf - they are just .. gone.
- On a more positive note, the recent fine weather has brought the sunflowers to the west of the Town Circle into early bloom wafting a pleasant perfume on the wind across towards the Yew Tree Inn. |

*Whsipered amongst elves, in Elvish*
They say the mannish-King will not punish anyone for killing the elf-general for following orders of men while trying to win the war for mannish forces. The council is powerless to protect us! _________________ (Ref NPC) |

The sun dawns brightly over Tesrae and the air feels crisp and fresh despite the chill. Across the land there is a feeling that something has passed away to be replaced by something new and young. Stubborn ditches untangle with little effort, shaky walls seem to settle into stronger foundations, dirt falls away with little effort and all toil seems arduous in Tesrae's new dawn... _________________ (Ref NPC) |

Any elves within Derwentshire/Tesrae this sunday just gone (11 July 2010), after noon, would have felt a surge of anger and hatred. Pure elves would have felt a burst of hatred towards non-elves and halfbreeds will have felt that anger plus some significant amount of self-loathing. The feeling subsides as the day progresses but may still be lurking somewhere in the depths of their psyche. _________________ (Ref NPC) |
