OOC, it was unintentionally funny, and just kind of came out that way. Do you think she got upset? The fruit/vegetable is "melon" rather than "mellon".

The IC reason is the why I referred to "Master" Wing as "tura" Wing. And General Random as "cora".

Don't you love a good mystery? Confused

I suspect someone has found a good book on Sindarian?

Though saying Tura Wing, you are actually saying Master of Wing in Sindarian.
The correct form would be 'Tur Wing' which is Master Wing.
The postfix 'a' usually implies 'of'

Likewise if you wished to refer to Master Wing, as in 'The Master Wing' you would use the phrase 'i Dur Wing' , in this case the addition of the word 'the' requires the soft mutation of the word Tur to Dur.

Then again General Random - Cora Random
'Ring of Random'? I'm stumped by that one. Shocked

There are not many military titles that translate directly to Sindarin, though commander does - 'gon' and King is 'aran' swordsman also has a direct translation in - 'vagor'
Which is interesting as sword and man are 'megil' and 'adan' respectivly, which implies that Tolkien had a differing entamology for this particular word.

clearly not as good a book as you have Juz!

me, I just use the idiot-proof pigeon website that claims "cora" is "leader" rather than ring. Go figure.

Hmm, to lead is possably 'Tegi' and lead is 'tog'

Sec, I'll try and conjugate the verb

'I lead' is 'Teglin'

Togel would be 'Leading' which is close.

There is no actual word that refers to leader, and no conjugation that I can see will give the exact word. Tog is probably the best word to use. Someone better than I at Sindarian may help.
