Village Lost to Mystery Plague

Reports are reaching the Stappeford Gazetter of a devastation of a local village, which until recently had been a small thriving local community.

Peter Janson, a local Evaluator, working for House DeWinter, spoke of the entire village being overrun by the undead Zombies, ghouls, skeletons and other such foul creatures.

A mission of mercy lead by the Alchemist Kirk Leigh who was carrying what was hoped to be a cure, was attempted, but unfortunatly arrived to late to save the villagers, who had turned into Zombies.

Most worrying of all is the rumour that this was caused by a disease, which could soon sweep through the region.

So far no effective cure appears to be available, and the only course of action taken so far has been to kill anyone harbouring the disease. A dwarf, identified at Azuguz was heard to state "we killed anyone who had it." adding "Seems like a good preventative step to me... "

We all pray to the Lady Vleybour to preserve us from this unholy disease, and that further innocent people are spared from this cull.
