The vilage is surrounded by a ring of trees with interleaved branches that form a huge natural wall. They are topped with lush green leaves so that a warm, gloom free, shade is created during the day and a soothing rustle accompanies the still of night. The branches reinforce and interweave through the gate so it can be closed and interlocked at a moments notice yet when unlocked can be swung aside easily. The only visible part of the original gate is a small plaque engraved with "This gate was erected in memory of Xavier Drake".
The holiness of the Crowan Shrine nestled in the boughs of the verdant wall is joined by a feeling of natural holiness from the wall and ground itself. (OoC Exmead's wall should be considered by the religious to be a Shrine to Longstor) |

*Stands well outside the village walls in the shadow of some more traditional looking vegetation. After watching for an hour or so without entering Exmead or moving closer, disappears deeper into the woodland away from the village*

Correct me if i'm wrong, but I think it has something to do with the Deathsmiter.
By the way, has anyone seen my husband? I've not seen him since my rather rapid departure from Exmead...
