(Ref Post)
Approaching Tesrae from the north you travel down the Bolteen Road. At a junction on the outskirts, a bridge over the River Gray leads westwards towards Grayford Abbey and then onto Ashbourne.
As you head first east and then south, the settlement of Tesrae stretches to the east and west of the Bolteen Road, with smaller roads leading to what seem to be number of buildings in various states of disrepair. Crossing a small tributary places you on an island in what appears to near the middle of Tesrae. This island is dominated by an ornate Watchtower and a circle of imposing stones to the east. The Bolteen road carries on south, across another tributary, and you leave this central island.
Travelling further onwards, more buildings and acres of farmland are visible to the left and the right. Some of the farms look to be going concerns - others are choked by ivy and nettles across buildings and previously tilled fields. The southern outskirts of Tesrae are marked by a sign at the side of the road pointing in three directions - "South Darian; West ShallowCut Mine; North Tesrae".
As you leave the mighty Forest of Eldenshay continues to the east, gloomy and oppressive, whilst to your west the River Gray rushes onwards to its future. |
