Arrival in the tavern

The heavy rain beats a tattoo upon the roof of the tavern, as a rather travel worn man enters. The clink of metal on metal can be heard from beneath the folds of a travelling cloak, which protrudes slightly at the back. Removing his hood, and with a slight shake of his cloak to disturb excess water, he approaches the bar

"Good evening bar keep, I seek shelter for the evening, and something warming, both to eat and drink!"

Taking a steaming bowl of broth, and a cup of mulled wine, he approaches the table nearest the fire. Removing the cloak, and laying it to dry over a convienient chair, he sits. Chainmail gleams wetly from beneath a tabard of grey, and shining steel helmet is placed upon the table. A sword hangs from a belt under which can be seen a black sash.
