He regards her for a second in the gloom, watching her for anything unusual, before nodding.

"Okay, but we need to be quiet, Alina is sleeping in the main room. We might have a way to get my sister back, melamin." he said the last bit in a rush, a smile on his face. "But we need to head to Mercia tomorrow."

He looked around at the night, peering into the darkness. "Come on, let's head inside. Can have some of that stew. It's really tasty, you made it wonderfully."

*a small gasp escapes her lips and her eyes widen a little.*

"Uh okay, and I hope its not a dangerous way."

*She sniffles and wipes her eyes again*

"I need to go to Mercia too, I'll come with you guys. I'm glad you seem better.*

He deflates slightly at the sniffle. "What's wrong love? Have... Have you been crying?"

"I'm guessing it will mean going back into the Lands, but she may not be dead. From the note that that thing wrote on the message boards, it sounds like she still may be alive. We just need to get there quickly. There is someone in Mercia who isn't Edward Fied who may be able to help us."

He kisses her forehead softly. "Shall we continue this inside?" he asks, opening the door quietly and leading her to their room.

Fin sits outside the cottage he shares with Indis, cross legged his eyes closed and his hand together in front of him. A fire crackles merrily a couple of meters from him, lighting the area.
Two letters lie on his lap and he seems to be waiting for someone.

Fin storms into his cottage and slams the door with a loud bang that echoes around the area, sending birds skyward and small animals to ground.

From outside, he can be heard cursing very loudly in a harshly spoken Elven. Pans, chairs and heavier things can be heard being thrown around.

Several minutes later the house falls silent.

Some half an hour later, Fin emerges from the cottage, his face still like thunder. A small pack thrown over his shoulder he heads for the main path, seemingly headed elsewhere.

An elegantly written card is pushed underneath the doorway

In the early morning sun, A figure hooded in black robes walks slowly up to the house. Long pale blonde tresses trail from inside the raised hood. She appears to be looking for someone, but in no hurry.

Fin and Bambi's cottage lies still and quiet. No noises emanate from inside and no movement can be seen through the window-holes. The card that had been pushed underneath the door still lies there and from the sodden mess that the exposed half has become, it's been there a while.

A wooden bowl, that had - perhaps - at one time contained food sits to one side of the door, full to the brim with stagnant water.

Integra sits to rest for a while, sighing to herself at the apparent absence of her friends. Her hands rest across the bump at her stomach. It seems as if the trip has taken a lot of energy from her.
After a while, she steels herself to get back to her feet and walk away back into Tesrae.

Late on Sunday night from the direction of Fibbleweed farm Fin approaches the cottage on horseback at a slow trot. As he nears the cottage he slides nimbly from the animals back and ties it up to a nearby fencepost. His face falling slightly as he surveys the shambles that the cottage has become.

Clearing away some of the rubbish and debris that was strewn as he walked over to the door, he pushed open the wooden door and entered. After several minutes, several candles guttered into life inside the cottage followed by things shuffling and moving around inside, dust rises and rolls out of the windows and every couple of hours a full burlap sack appears outside the doorway.

Around two in the morning the door is shut and the candles are extinguished, leaving the area dark - save for the moonlight.

Throughout Monday and Tuesday Fin can be seen working around the cottage tidying the place up, dragging heavy tarpaulins over a couple of the holes in the walls.
Late Tuesday evening, Fin emerges from the cottage with a pack slung over his shoulders and, after pinning a notice to the door, unties the horse and vaults up onto its back. With a long, sad look at the cottage, he spurs his horse in the direction of Darian.
