Eldenshay Atrocity!

Hear ye, hear ye

Rumours are rife that during the night the village of Wellbake, upon the northwestern borders of the Drakheart forest, was viciously attacked by a group of foul and prefidious dark elves adored with the symbols of the Eldenshay, alongside these base and cunning curr's eye witnesses reported huge hulking beasts, with fanged maws capable of crushing bone, wielding gigantic swords glowing with a foul inner light. Like a dark storm they tore through the village, decimating its paltry militia garrison in mere moments as they slipped from the shadows, within minutes the village was ablaze and terrified inhabitants fled through the streets seeking what safety they could.

Although few are reported to be dead, a score or more innocent victims are reported to have been dragged off into the darkness of the night. The Guild of Forester's is already launching an investigation into the issue, whilst currently there has been no word from the Eldenshay regarding the atrocity. Is this a prelude to another bloody conflict, a return to the dark days of the Dagor-Delurth? Lock your doors, bar your windows and keep your children close as we pray to the Seven to deliver us from the terror of those dark days returning.
