Eyupp fellow adventurers,
I have received a request from a respected member of our adventuring community. This individual, a member of the Blacksmiths Guild, is looking for material with which to produce a special commission on behalf of a client. He is looking for only a small quantity of this item (perhaps a few HuMan ounces).
The material is a metallic ore rumoured to be as "light as a feather and as hard as dragon scales". Mayhap you will have heard of it by its common name of mithril? In times gone by, even before my father was born, mithril was used in the making of armour and weapons, but the use to which this small quantity would be put is more mundane and decorative.
I would greatly appreciate the assistance of any adventurer who may be able to locate some mithril, or can at least suggest which libraries in Ithron may contain knowledge of its whereabouts. If you are able to help in this matter, please make contact by pigeon or sparrowhawk. Your assistance will not go unrewarded, be that material wealth, the skills of the Scout or Blacksmith or my gratitude and indebtedness in future. _________________ Lord Kyrissulean, Father to Maple

As a thought it may be wise to consult the Elders, their rememberance of lore is greater than that of our own. They may now of a location of ore, or a telling in myth.
Also the Negrym (Dwarves in the common tongue) may be of great assistance, as master miners and metal workers they may know of the location of such. Though they keep their secrets well, and they are less likely to divulge them to one of the Edhil such as ourselfs.
I will see if I am able to help if I can.

Yes the dwarfs will certainly know where its to be found.
There is no chance whatsoever that they will tell you, me or anyone else.
Sorry Red, not too helpful I know, if I can help I will. _________________ Jon Jon
