In what is already a harsh winter, the omen of the setting moon turning blood red on the morning of the Winter Solstice has been said to be a terrible omen.
The people of Derwentshire already know the horror that the colour of blood has presaged in the past, and the setting of the crimson moon behind Eldenshay forest has brought about the prediction that the new year shall be deluged with the blood of innocents.
