Notification of Quarantine

Upon this day the I of Thawing it is given that the city of Ashbourne has been officially closed to all traffic or trade, the ravages of the Red Pox have broken forth from the quarantine centers around the Poor Quarter and it is believed that the disease now runs rampant within the city.

Militia forces from Darian, Stappeford and Gwynhaven have been relocated to form a cordon around the city, to prevent all travellers from approaching and dissuade any refuges from leaving. They have been authorised to detail or utilise lethal force as appropriate.

It is hereby the civic duty of any loyal citizen to report to the Watch, Militia or Guards across the province any refugees that are known to have fled Ashbourne in the last week. Those found guilty of harbouring such men and women will be duly punished.

May the Gods have mercy upon the souls of the damned and let us pray that this pestilence runs its course swiftly.
