The Guidanese army which had recently been marching from Holiton towards the Fengate marshes and Ironedge. Made a surprise move upon ExMead.

The defence of the town fell to the Adventurers, lead by Guardscaptain Hart.
The battle for ExMead was extremmely vicious, and the towns defences were heavlly damaged, however the Guidanese Earl, retreated his forces after his faliure to breach the towns defences.

His army were last seen retreating towards Norham. At this time the Darian / Stappeford / ExMead area can be said to be clear of Hellmourns forces.

The Countess extends her thanks to the Adventurers who defended ExMead.

The Town of ExMead also wishes to thank Probationary Guardsman Xavier Drake, for his genourous donation towards the rebuilding of the ExMead North gate.
