Our Guiadonese friend enjoyed everything about life and didn't take any of it particularly seriously. He played at wooing, much the same way Richard Big does, where there is no seriousness meant in an end result, just enjoyment in the "game". My sisters too, would do much the same thing, my elder sister used to very much enjoy all that came with romance, without any serious feeling... until recently, but we never had chance to see if she was actually going to be serious this time.

There is caring, it's just care laced with humour... that's the best way I could describe it and I'm not sure if it's clear...
