Tethers his horse and starts moving to where a particular patch of ivy is clinging to the wall.

After a few steps he shakes his head as though clearing his mind of old habits and goes to the main door, knocking a couple of times.

*the door opens, and Isilwen stands holding a candlestick. The light casts strange shadows on her face, and makes the scar on her left cheek look more vivid. She smiles at George.*

Welcome back George. Tidings of the new year to you. Do come in, it is positively freezing out here!

*she ushers him indoors*

Mistress Isilwen!

*George leaps forward to catch Isilwen in a hug then after breaking apart he steps inside*

Sorry I've not been back for a while, something came up in Oxenford. Then Portsdeane. I was on my way back before I came across that reference to Sorcerer's Islan....

*Catches sight of the scar*

By Vleybor, what happened to you?

She forgot how to duck.

*Says Straws voice from somewhere behind Isilwen*

But then that's something that happens now and again when you adventure.

I'll put the kettle back over the fire for you both.

*Winces at the description*

Eww, I was taught a handy spell recently, its one that stops all bladed weapons from scratching you, but I imagine your school doesn't teach it.

I actually came by to take you up on the invitation to tea, and discuss those sorcerers.

Is the fire lit Straw? Or shall I do a ritual on it?

If you mean deaden blow, yes I have it, but that requires someone else to perform it on me.

The sorcerer's isle was a long time ago, but I'm sure I can dredge up something.

The fire's lit. Have you not stopped using that ritual for household tasks yet?

It might be an idea to invest in a flint and steel... just for small things like lighting fires. Or alchemical firemakers, I tend to prefer those for candles and firelighting. It's less likely to incinerate the immediate area...

Hmm, okay then, I'll give it a go. Do you have some flints I could practice with?

Yes, I'm sure I can lend you one, but... remember, don't randomly set fire to things. Flames are not always the answer.

*Gives George a stirn look*

None of those rituals in the house. Ever. Anyones house.

Now come and sit down, the tea won't take long and I was on my way out anyway.

*walks into the drawing room and sits down, when George is seated she says...*

Well, as I say, it was quite a long time ago. I don't remember why we went, but the island I'm thinking of, had a very old man, who was a mage or sorcerer of some kind. We had to solve puzzles to get to the island. The man also had friendly foulspawn under his employ.

This was somewhere near Esca.

He wouldn't come with us as I recall. He stayed there. I think he gave us some advice or information, but he was very old and very grumpy.
