...Nathaniel with a travelling cloak wrapped around him, and a pack upon his back heads into the bar, and strides purposefully up to the barkeep. They spend a few minutes talking, quite and clearly haggling over the price of something. With an over-exaggerated sigh Nathaniel can be seen handing over a few coins, along with several sealed envelopes.

The barkeep disappears into the backroom for several moments, the sound of shouting can be heard, and good natured threats against the kitchen staff. Moments later he re-appears with a bag of provisions and a corked bottle, which he grudgingly relinquishes to Nathaniel, who in turn takes both with a nod of thanks. As the barkeep returns to his duties Nathaniel hastily removes the pack from his back, and begins to re-arrange the contents to fit the small sack into it.*
