Hello Miss Fibbleweed, I haven't heard anything, but I haven't been in Tesrae for a couple of weeks anyway. I'm sure someone would tell me if the place exploded.
I'm actually supposed to be in Mercia, but I think I took a right instead of a left at Oxenford and came here instead...

Tesrea is doing fine, but I've not been home in a couple of days as I've been scouting.
*Straw sits down and rumages in her pouch for a brief moment before pulling out a piece of paper.*

I'm promised to do some undead bashing in Caer Marw, too many people seem to be pledging themselves to liches and things there... plus I've heard a distressing rumour about someone trying to bring my sister back to life by using the Rag and Bone Man to pull her from a different place in time. Much as I love her, that's messing with the natural order and she didn't want to come back if she died. I may have to slap some people about a bit...
*a look of irritation passes briefly across her face before she smiles*
If Vau is at a hiring you're attending, if he does something suicidal would you tell him his behaviour would upset Crystal? I'm a little concerned about his mind at the moment...

If I see him I'll make sure that I'm with him. As for stopping him doing anything silly, I'll do my best. But you know how stubbon he can be. So instead I'll promise to make sure he gets back up afterwards, ok?

It won't get you Caer Marw, but it will get you to Mercia. Just stay on the roads I've marked. I'd escourt you down but I'm a little busy.

I'm a little torn about this hiring. I've heard that there is a group going to talk to the Eldenshay Elves and I really feel that I should be involved in that... but we may have someone coming down who can help with Par Tar Rep, which I also have quite a bit of experiance with. I'm really not sure which group I'd benefit most.

I'd see how the split of power goes, although Isilwen told me you and her got bound to PTR so possibly staying away from him and his bits would be best? Besides, I'm REALLY worried about adventurers and elves trying to diplomacise each other... it's going to end in blood...

She told you about that, eh? Nice to know she shared. But that's one of the reasons I want him sorted.
As for the diplomacy, that's one of the things that is pulling me strongly toward that mission. I've had good dealings with the Elves in the past, and given the proximity to Tesrea I don't want any misunderstandings.
*Sighs*
I guess you are right. *Straw glances up, hand touching her holy symbold for a moment* I guess He is teaching me patience and making me apply wisdom to the knowledge that I have gained.

I think she was sharing cause it was a potential danger to Tesrae. But I haven't bandied it about.
*shrugs* I always thought wisdom over-rated when compared to hoping for the best when doing something REALLY stupid... *grins*

I'll agree to disagree with you on that. Don't get me wrong, I've done a few desprite acts in my time, even stupid one, but a like Wisdom mixed with enough knowledge goes a long way.

Oh Gods, yes! I think we have to cleanse the Rag and Bone man so he becomes the good guy that helps adventurers later in his life. Unhinged in time makes things complicated... as for the lich who used to be an adventurer... well I'm heavily in favour of getting a powerful group of adventurers together with a scroll of destroy lich and storming his tower. The problem is getting powerful adventurers in Caer Marw, not many around there.

Umm... I think I know someone with one of those scrolls.
And those types of missions tend to end badly as everyone thinks that they are unkillable or something... or they all forget the past and hope for the best

Don't tell Vau, but had it not been for Valerian, I'd been dead now. Not true, I'd just have no legs and would be stuck in an area filled with undead... I know I bleed as easily as anyone once you get through my layers of tin. But then, taking down a lich should really be harder than getting a vampire and that mission to save the Royal Alchemist had so much power and the undead just kept coming... nightmares in pairs would you believe it. Wraiths in pairs. So many skeletal knights it made me wonder if they ever bother laying them to rest.
If that's just a weird vampire, how bad would a lich who knows adventurers be?

That is some serious numbers of undead. But adventuring near Darien has seen similar numbers in the past.
Look to the walls of Darien it self. They've been built up thanks to that Templar Elf that became a Vampire. He was the one that started all the ballista's and the like as well. It's because of him that we haven't been able to get a toe hold to reclaim the city. Bloody things raining fire down onto people.

Problem was we had basically no religious power save for what Sir Ninian could provide and we got hammered. At least in Derwentshire people have faith, or at least a faith strong enough they'll try and save a soul in danger. Considering we have two primates and the general and at the time a Defender... none volunteered. And my sister died. *sighs again and sits up straighter*
Knights and their walls. I do wonder at the obsession.
