You can do what you intended to do anyway. Take the message to the people, save every soul that you can. Be careful with praising the Seven in the presence of a wounded angel. If you help restore their wounds with your words, then you are aiding in the healing of a lethal wound. Better simply to pray, or to allow the creature to die and lay its glowing heart to rest. I suppose this is a bit much responsibility for a supplicant.. but be aware of it in the future. I am hoping that this will all be over soon, and for the better.

Right, thanks for the warning about the angels, I'll do my praising in my head if there's a wounded holy creature around.

I can't lay to rest yet, but Kharach-willing I will be able to eventually, and send any soul that needs it on to His care.

Better settle in... We have a day and two nights until we can go out with an adventuring party. I suppose we could go and hunt some local undead together but there's always the risk neither of us will come back... I don't think our Primate would forgive me for that at the moment. *smiles, cheekily*

I think she heard you, I have a message for you, the Defender will reply as soon as she is able, she says she hasn't forgotten, she has just been exceptionally busy this past week. She knows I can talk to you in person, as I mentioned in my reply that you have been 'showing me the ropes'.

*sends her response, and receives another letter*

Good grief, that is kind of her! She has offered to pay for a blacksmith to make me a mace, as I only have a blade.

*sighs* I'm not in too much of a hurry for her to report to me, it will be complaints about the church or the Order. *smiles, sadly* I am afraid at a time when the church should be united, we find pettier things to be divided on than ever... Not referring to anyone or anything specific, just a general mood. *sighs, and looks into her glass.* You might be better off learning from the Defender, she is not as old to this and cynical as I am.
