*The thick set elf limps out to the knight and clasps in arm in greeting. He flinches as he does and then stares at the angry handprint on the side of his face. He addresses Sir Marcus, albeit slightly more gravely.*

Cormamin lindua ele lle Sir Knight, I understand it is yourself and the Knight Commander we have to thank for representing us to the King? *He smiles* I swear that Colonel Vanya almost smiled when I passed her the message. *A touch of sadness crosses his face momentarily* Almost.

"No thanks are needed my friend. I came to see what help, if any, we can offer. We have some forces in the area which can assist if you require, though in another few weeks we shall be marshalling our forces to assault the Ironscars.

I'll be heading over to Fengate at the end of the week, so I can be reached there, or at Darian before that.

I understand Colonel Vanya has already spoken to Sir Robin, so there is little we can do now. But we should be able to assist in some weeks, for example with the refugees or wounded?"

Well if you can keep the Ironscars off our collective backs then we will be free to keep the Regime off yours. Currently the regime forces are contained by the rebelling population, and the enemy command structure is decimated. We are containing each disparate force and trying to eliminate it before they can regain cohesion. Most of the civilians, and all of the non-Aglarîn Tahl'ohtar are actively supporting the rebellion.

Ar'varok has retreated to the Capitals western outer defences, directly between Tesrae and the capital. We are securing the capital but the regime have left behind traps and sleeper troops of hidden demons and undead that are incredibly damaging to regular troops. At the moment the regulars have pulled out and the exiles are going door to door and room to room.

Currently Tesrae has control of Nuinamonglad, we are preventing Ar'Varoks forces in Barindglad for now, preventing them from linking up with the forces in Haeglad to the north and Mithdûnglad to the south. The southern Silvereye forces along with demonic allies have fallen back to the camp in Elvaston. The forces to the north are concerning however as we do not have clear intelligence of their strength or capabilities.

On the east in Daenenglad the regime forces have pulled back in disarray to the prison camps. Just south in Edrainglad intense fighting is occuring along the Telwich Valley. The enemy is being skilfully led by an undead knight called "Sir Valdas".

Meanwhile we have pushed the forces in Gwanuglad away from Darian however we believe that they have left significant undead forces in place to harass any force launched from the city. Currently the area is ringed with Tahl-otar preventing any forces from counterstriking Darian, specifically to try to avoid encouraging non-elven forces to become involved.

We really do not want Knights to start to make inroads into the Forest in force, lest popular support fall away in fear. However, keeping a buffer zone to prevent routing enemy from attacking innocents if they retreat from the forest would be helpful. As would a friendly escort for the worst of our wounded and refugees that may be in danger of reprisal attacks from a vengeful populace around the forest.

Sounds a desperate situation. I hope we can keep them away from the forest. Any suggestion of us getting out of the way for them to march through will promptly be opposed, not that I consider it likely.

After we deal with the Ironscars, I suggest we liase with you further to see how further we can aid you. Perhaps tasking the Knights and adventurers to destroy the forces of Undeath will mean they are not assaulting those of Elvish blood.
